Najwa Tashi is a genre-blending singer, rapper, and songwriter born in Yemen and now based in Kuala Lumpur. During the 2015 conflict, she transformed her wartime survival in Yemen into a musical mission, spending three years writing songs in a bunker with just a guitar and a journal.

Once in KL, her resilience led to a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music Asia, where she co-wrote tracks for League of Legends EDG, PER6IX (Enjoy Records Co Inc), Sury Su (Sony Music China), and game soundtracks with her longtime collaborators Sea Travel, a production team signed to Sony Music. Najwa has built a growing fanbase and connects with over 55,000 followers across her social media platforms. Now with 1 2 One, Najwa is working with heavyweights worldwide, co-writing and gaining placements in K-pop, Pop, & Dance.
