Celetia has co written songs like “Eazy” for Grammy award winner Eric Bellinger “Cross My Heart” by Skepta, “Just Incase” by Conor Maynard, “Not Giving Up” by The Saturdays, and “Something Beautiful” by Jacob Banks to name just a few. Celetia is influenced by the likes of Dianne Warren, Babyface, Tina Marie and Carole King.
Music has been Celetia’s life since an early age. Celetia spent the majority of her teens as an artist touring the world with two self penned albums by the age of 18. A few years later she joined the chart topping duo Groove Armada as the featured vocalist on hit single 'My Friend’. After two years touring with the band Celetia moved to LA to pursue her love for song writing where she worked with Grammy award winning producers Soulshock and Karlin, Ron Fair and The Underdogs.
Celetia landed placements with High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale with the song “Goin Crazy” and was then called to work with Ron Fair on a song she had written “Bubblegum” for The Slumber Party Girls. “Bubblegum” became the most requested song on Disney Radio.
Celetia adds “Growing up there was always an eclectic mix off music playing in my house from Soul to Dance, Rock to Pop and that’s definitely influenced my writing in a big way, the one thing all these genres had in common was great melodies with BIG hooks you could sing along to”
Celetia also runs Forty-Nine Publishing which has a joint venture with the Royalty Network publishing (US) that allows her to scout and sign upcoming and exciting new writers and producers. Celetia add’s “I felt that there was so much overlooked young talent out there that wasn’t being given the opportunity. and I kept coming across them. So i decided to set up the company solely to offer them the chance to access more of these opportunities, and that’s something I’m very passionate about”.
